What Ever Happened to Baby Toto? (1964) (1964)
Two brothers, Totò and Pietro, live of petty theft. They steal two suitcases at the station, but one contains a corpse. They decide to get rid of it in the countryside. Misadventures of all kinds ensue, and Totò ends up eating by mistake a salad of marijuana and becomes a homicidal maniac. A spoof of “What Ever Happened to Baby Jane?”, coarse-grained, but all to be watched, with an irresistible Totò making a caricature of Bette Davis. This time around, Totò unleashes all of his sadistic vein, and is more prodigal with faces than with puns, making it easier and funnier following his antics.
