The Very Edge (1963) (1963)
Tracey Lawrence (Anne Heywood) is attacked in her home. Jack Hedley plays McInnes A Detective from Scotland Yard sent to investigate the crime Tracey is pregnant and happily married to Lawrence (Richard Todd) who is an architect. She leads a happy life until the day Mullen (Jeremy Brett) breaks into her house, rapes her, and ultimately causes her to miscarry. Tracey is so affected by the encounter she finds men totally repulsive, including her husband. Her attitude does not change with time, and to make matters worse her husband has got romantically involved with his secretary. In the meantime, the Police still have not been able to track down the psychotic rapist, and there is no guarantee that Tracey is safe.
